A little bit about us that have this Cattery...

Hello and Welcome to our Cattery. Our name is Anne Nilsson and Niklas Jonsson.
...Me, Anne, is born in Skellefteå, Sweden but moved to L.A in 1986.
I lived in L.A. Californa for 12 years and now I am back in Skellefteå and
lives here with Niklas Jonsson in a big house not far from the city.
When I was in Los Angeles I decided to go to an artist School called, Otis Art & Design College.
It was lots of fun and there I became an graphic designer...

I have decided to write all the text in english, Sorry!!
But I want all my friends back in L.A. to be able to read everything :) So here we go...

My Cattery is called S*Kimaya Rozes and I registreted it with FIFe/SVERAK 2003-11-12.
The Cattery was first out on the Internet in 2 feb, 2004.


The name Kimaya means "Divine" and it is Sanskrit. Divine means; Just beautiful, uncredible glow or something like that *Special Something.*...Well something like that...
"Rozes" comes from Roses and it is just the white roses that I love the most!!
So was my Cattery name decided for.
I choosed Kimaya Rozes as my Catterys name because I wanted to try and explain what the name ment for me.
The feeling I get from our beautiful cats...

Our goal with this Cattery is to bring up wonderful, healthy and great cats that has a real good temper and with that a sweet look:)

All of our cats will be checked what bloodgroup they have, it is so important...

We will also test all of our cats for Felv, FIV.
They will be vaccinated every year against Feline Panleucopenia and Herpes/Calicivirus.

We will test all of our british shorthair for PKD (Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease) and
all of our brits and birmans against HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy).



Seens I registreted this Cattery in year of 2003, we have today all of 10 cats.
Four adorable sacred birmans and six very, cute british shorthair. Please read about all of them on their special pages.

We have decided to give all of our litters names that is inspired from different things in our lives.
S*Kimaya Rozes plans to have 1-3 litters per year.

I also want to tell you that I am a member of Skellefteås cat club Org. Solkatten, Sverak (Swedish Cat Club Org.) ,Birmasällskapet, Brittringen and Brittvennen, a Norwegan british ring.
